Only eight Rimac Concept_One supercars have ever been built. The company plans to build 80 more – each priced at $1 million. If you’re a fan of cars and EVs, you might be wondering, “What does a 1,088-hp EV sound like as it generates 2,800 lb-ft of torque?”
This video has the answer. In the brief clip, the Concept_One is raced on an open track, squeezing every bit of power out of its four electric motors. Rimac claims the Concept_One blasts from 0-60 in 2.8 seconds. Impressive, but perhaps more impressive is the claim that one charge gives you 310 miles of driving. That’s not something we’ve seen on many electric supercars.
Rimac is working to supply electric automakers with powertrain and drivetrain components in addition to building vehicles of its own.
