Racing Extinction movie uses specially equipped Tesla Model S (Video)

The producers of the new moving Racing Extinction used a Tesla Model S to help shoot the movie. The car features special electroluminescent paint from Dark Scientific. It also has a 15,000 lumen projector that is deployed on the trunk of the car on a special robotic arm. You can learn more about the car in this video.

Racing Extinction is from director Louie Psihoyos, whose previous credits include the critically acclaimed The Cove, which focuses on mercury poisoning that is impacting the world’s food chain. The new movie premiered on the Discovery Channel on December 2.
