Chevrolet Spark EV

The Chevrolet Spark, originally branded as the Daewoo Matiz, is a city car produced by the South Korean automaker GM Korea. In October 2011, General Motors announced the production of the Chevrolet Spark EV, an all-electric version of the third generation Chevrolet Spark.

GM sells the Spark EV in limited quantities in California, Oregon, Canada, South Korea and select European markets.

The production version of the Chevrolet Spark EV was unveiled at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show. Within the framework of GM’s vehicle electrification strategy, the Spark EV is the first all-electric passenger car marketed by General Motors in the U.S. since the EV1 was discontinued in 1999.
